Roof tent for Toyota Proace

The Toyota Proace family is a practical van platform, so it can be a strong base for travel and camping when the exact roof system is used correctly. Large Proace and Proace Verso models use fixed van roof points, with typical approved-bar values around 100 kg over two bars and up to 150 kg over three approved bars in the owner's manual/handbook sources. Full roof-rack systems can be higher, around 140 kg for Compact and 170 kg for Medium/Long versions, while Proace City van platform sources are around 115 kg. Proace City Verso with flush rails is a separate smaller passenger-van case around 100 kg.

Always confirm whether the vehicle is large Proace, Proace City van or Proace City Verso, because the roof system is not the same.

Large Toyota Proace and Proace Verso need approved van roof bars or a roof rack for the factory fixed points. Proace City van needs a Proace City-specific fixed-point platform or van bars. Proace City Verso from 2020 onward with factory flush rails needs a flush-rail bar kit. Roof bars on a van usually weigh around 6-7 kg, while full platforms can be heavier, so check the complete setup - tent, bars or platform and mounting hardware together.

Universal roof bars from our range can also be used on Toyota Proace City Verso from 2020 onward with factory flush rails. For large Proace, Proace Verso fixed-point roofs, Proace City cargo van and panoramic-roof variants, use Thule, Yakima or van-specific rack system instead.
