Roof tent for Opel Mokka

The Opel Mokka is a compact SUV that works well for weekend trips, roadtrips and lighter camping with a SNAILER rooftop tent. The earlier Opel Mokka (2012-2016) and facelifted Opel Mokka X (2016-2020) usually use integrated flush roof rails, and the manufacturer-stated roof load is 75 kg including the roof bars and load. The newer Opel Mokka B and Mokka Electric from 2021 usually have a normal roof with mounting points in the door-frame area and use the same 75 kg figure including the carrier and load. With correctly chosen crossbars, this is a common basis for installing a SNAILER rooftop tent.

Opel Mokka 2012-2016 and Opel Mokka X 2016-2020 versions with integrated flush rails need an exact crossbar kit made for the integrated rails of this generation. The newer Opel Mokka B and Mokka Electric from 2021 without longitudinal roof rails need a model-specific system for a normal roof, mounted to the factory mounting points near the door frames. Crossbars made for raised roof rails are not used on these versions.

For versions with a sunroof or glass roof, check that the crossbars and mounting hardware do not interfere with the glass or the opening mechanism. Use Opel/OEM, Thule, Yakima or another precisely approved system for the exact Mokka generation and roof type.
