Roof tent for Nissan Navara

The Nissan Navara is a practical pickup for work and travel, and with the right rack it can become a strong camping base. Cab-roof values vary by generation and roof equipment: older D22/D40 sources need exact confirmation, D40 factory rail sources are mixed, and D23/NP300 rail-equipped versions need conservative checking before tent use. As with most pickups, a bed rack, reinforced canopy rack or hardtop rack is often the cleaner SNAILER tent route than relying only on cab roof bars.

Navara D22 and D40 without roof rails need model-specific normal-roof cab bars. Navara D40 with factory raised roof rails needs raised-rail bars, but the load data should be checked carefully. Navara D23/NP300 from 2015 onward with factory raised roof railings needs raised-rail bars, while D23 without rails needs a normal-roof kit. For rooftop tents, a Navara bed rack, canopy rack, hardtop rack or tub platform is usually the preferred solution when the accessory rating supports the tent. Roof bars on a pickup cab usually weigh around 5-6 kg, while bed/canopy racks can be heavier, so check the complete setup - tent, rack and mounting hardware together.
