Roof tent for Skoda Superb

The Skoda Superb is a comfort-first long-distance car, and the Combi version can turn that motorway-cruiser character into a very practical camping base. Many Skoda Superb versions are listed with a roof load of around 100 kg, which gives more headroom than many smaller estate cars when the right roof bars are used. Superb liftback versions normally use a model-specific basic roof rack or normal-roof mounting system, while Superb Combi versions use roof rails. Superb IV Combi from 2024 onward uses a flush-rail style setup. Always confirm the exact roof-load value in the owner's manual/handbook or vehicle technical certificate, if it is listed there, and roof equipment on your car, especially on Superb IV from 2024 onward or cars with a panoramic roof.

Superb liftback needs a model-specific Thule, Yakima or similar normal-roof kit. Superb II Combi 2009-2015 and Superb III Combi 2015-2024 with raised roof rails need raised-rail bars. Superb IV Combi from 2024 onward needs a flush-rail bar kit. Roof bars for this size of estate usually weigh around 5-6 kg, so check the complete setup - tent, bars and mounting hardware together.
