Roof tent for Dacia Jogger

The Dacia Jogger is a spacious and efficient family car that fits naturally with road trips, simple camping and holidays with plenty of equipment. Jogger versions with factory modular roof bars or factory longitudinal roof bars have a maximum roof-bar load of 80 kg including the carrying equipment, with the modular system limited to 40 kg per bar when the load is evenly distributed. This is a useful basis for a SNAILER rooftop tent when the tent clamps, bar spacing and complete moving weight match the original system. Vehicles without factory longitudinal rails or modular roof bars are a different case: Dacia prohibits fitting roof carrying equipment to that roof version.

Always confirm which factory roof-bar system the vehicle has and check the 80 kg limit in the owner's manual/handbook or vehicle technical certificate, if it is listed there, before choosing a rooftop tent.

Jogger with factory modular roof bars should use the original bars rotated into their approved transverse carrying position and locked exactly as described in the Dacia manual. The bars are not interchangeable, and the complete load must remain within 40 kg per bar and 80 kg overall including the carrying equipment. Jogger with factory raised longitudinal roof bars needs model-approved raised-rail crossbars, with the tent clamps and required bar spacing checked before installation. Jogger without factory longitudinal rails or modular roof bars is not suitable for a standard rooftop-tent carrier because Dacia prohibits fitting roof carrying equipment to that roof version.

Use the original Dacia modular system where fitted, or Thule, Yakima or another exact approved Jogger-specific system for vehicles with factory raised longitudinal rails. Do not substitute universal rail bars on a Jogger without factory load-bearing rails.
