Compact black side awning with a 2 m aluminium housing and a full 3 m projection. It creates a generous shaded area beside your vehicle and can be mounted on either the left or right side.

Create a practical sheltered area for a break, a shared meal or a quiet evening beside your vehicle. The black SNAILER 180° awning is stored in a compact aluminium housing during travel and extends a full 3 m when in use.

Compact while travellingWhen packed, the awning is protected by a durable black aluminium housing with compact dimensions. The housing is 2 m long and sits neatly on the roof rack. The awning can be installed on either the left or right side of the vehicle, depending on where you want to create your sheltered area. |

Always extend it fullyThe awning projects 3 m from the vehicle. Leave enough free space beside the vehicle before deployment. Partial extension is not possible: the awning must be opened completely and the fabric must be properly tensioned. Two people are recommended for comfortable setup and packing. |

Always use the support legsThis model is not self-supporting. The telescopic legs must be used every time. Their length is adjustable from 135 to 240 cm. In calm conditions, the support legs are sufficient. In windy weather, also secure the awning with guy lines and suitable ground pegs. For safety, pack the awning away during strong winds, storms or severe weather. This helps prevent damage to the awning, roof rack and vehicle. |

Lighting for the eveningThe integrated LED strip illuminates the area beneath the awning when it gets dark. It is powered through a USB connector, for example from a power bank. A power bank is not included. |

Prepare the correct roof-rack mountingThe awning itself weighs 12.8 kg. The two mounting brackets weigh 2.16 kg in total, giving a combined awning and bracket weight of 14.96 kg. This total does not include other installation hardware or the roof rack. Bolts for mounting into the T-slot of roof crossbars are not included. They can be purchased separately from our store. Please check that the bolt dimensions match the T-slot of your roof rack. |

The canopy is made from 420D Oxford fabric with a black PU coating. The black aluminium housing protects the rolled awning during transport and gives it a clean appearance on the vehicle.

Can the awning be extended only halfway?
No. It must be fully extended to 3 m so that the fabric is correctly tensioned.
Can it be used without the support legs?
No. The awning is not self-supporting and the legs are required even in calm conditions. In wind, we also recommend guy lines and pegs. Pack the awning away during strong winds or storms.
Can it be installed on the right side of the vehicle?
Yes. This model can be mounted on either the left or right side, depending on the roof-rack configuration.
Are T-slot mounting bolts included?
No. T-slot bolts are available separately. Their dimensions must match the T-slot of your roof crossbars.
