The Carmotion moisture absorber is a practical accessory for rooftop tents, helping to reduce humidity especially during storage or when the tent remains closed for a longer period.

After packing the tent (especially if it was not completely dry), residual moisture may remain inside, which over time can cause musty smells, damp conditions, or unpleasant odors. The moisture absorber gradually absorbs this excess moisture and helps keep the interior of the tent in better condition.

Important notice: The moisture absorber is only a supplementary solution and not a primary method of ventilation. Especially during long-term storage, it is essential to regularly ventilate the tent and avoid leaving it closed for extended periods without fresh air circulation. After cold nights, it is also important to properly air out and dry the tent before packing it.

It is also suitable for use inside a car, where it helps reduce window fogging.

Inside, there is an absorbent material that safely captures moisture. Once saturated, the color gradually changes – typically fading to white or light pink (in practice, it usually just becomes noticeably lighter).

After drying (e.g. on a radiator), the absorber can be reused, making it a simple and long-term solution without the need for power.

Important warning:
Despite the manufacturer’s recommendation to dry the product in a microwave, we do not recommend this method – the pouch may become damaged or deteriorate due to excessive heat. We strongly recommend drying it only on a radiator. Do not use a microwave.
